VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
If you would like to become involved in your community, the Township Manager is interested in hearing from you!
The Board of Commissioners is permitted, by the First Class Township Code and state legislation, to enlist Township citizens to volunteer their time to serve on the various boards and commissions that reflect their particular area of interest or expertise. The following boards and commissions are currently active in the Township:
- Planning Commission – 7-member board with a 4-year term
- Sewer Advisory Board – 5-member board with a 5-year term
- Zoning Hearing Board – 3-member board with a 3-year term
- Park & Recreation Board – 7-member board with a 5-year term
- Police Civil Service Commission – 3-member board with a 6-year term
- Historical Architectural Review Board – 5-member board with a 3-year term
